Sienna Rossi: Beyond Shattered Trust is book 9 in The Rossi Legacies Series. This book is a paranormal fantasy romance featuring the return and conclusion to Sienna and Jayce's story after the lovers/mates were torn apart by betrayal.

Open or Closed Door: Open door
Spice Level: 3.5 out of 5 peppers - There are several detailed spicy scenes that feature dirty talk.
The book is more plot driven with some smut sprinkled in.
Age Range: Jayce is said to now be 21, which would make Sienna around 20.
Book Boyfriend Material: If you read the previous books, you know by now Jayce has had more than his fair share of hurt. As such, he has become colder and more standoff-ish.
However, that doesn't mean he isn't still caring and there for those that are important to him, even if he doesn't always make that crystal clear.
FMC: Sienna has certainly matured a bit after everything she's been through.
That said, she still loves hard and will not stand by idly as life passes her by. She's wiling to own up to her mistakes and fight for what she wants and thinks is right in life.
Readability: Easy to read and flows well with minimal grammatical issues. Some wording issues that personally gave me the ick that I'll detail below.

My Review
I've been eager to read this book ever since the seventh in the series was released almost a year ago. I was not disappointed.
Likes
- The story draws you in from the beginning
- Even though longer, I did not get bored thanks to all the twists and turns
- Really enjoyed the character growth and maturation
Dislikes
- Some wording used gave me the ick
- Has one of my least favorite tropes
First I will definitely recommend that you start at the beginning of this series for things to make the most sense and know why some of the side characters in this book make the choices they do.
I will admit that as much as I enjoy them over all, it sometimes takes me several chapters to get into Muse's books. That was not the case with this particular book.
I was hooked from the start and there was so much action and twists that I wanted to keep reading and thus finished it faster than I normally would.
I really enjoyed how Sienna and Jayce had matured and evolved. In some ways they've switched roles from their first book with Sienna being the more grounded one and Jayce having to deal with more grief, emotions, and insecurities.
And what Sienna ultimately does to show just how much she trusts Jayce...wow.
The overall story and conflict that has spanned the series was just as entertaining to read as the parts with our main characters. Muse did a really great job building suspense and writing the action scenes.
There are also several spicy scenes if that's something you enjoy reading in your romance books.
Normally I'd want to rate a book 5 stars when it's one that has me so enthralled I can't put it down. But a couple of things derailed that for me.
First, I didn't realize until reading this book that someone described as doing something hornily would give me the ick and make me pause to cringe. But it does, and was used a few times in the book. Maybe that makes me petty but we all have our quirks.
Secondly, this book uses one of my least favorite tropes. Jayce basically lets Sienna think that it's her fault they're not together now that she's back but you'll find out that's not what the real issue is.
While I can understand where Jayce is coming from in this instance, and I know they're popular tropes, miscommunication and lying by omission always make books a bit less enjoyable for me.
That said, I definitely really enjoyed this book and recommend it to any romance book lovers - just make sure you start at the beginning of the series .
